The website may have been quiet but I've been pretty busy with UnrealEngine projects.
I've released my modular noise plugin for UE, something I've been needing for the procedural terrain for a while now.

I've been working on polishing up the terrain generation system subsequently, here's a couple of little videos showing off the grass system and new LOD blending features

AI progress, and Aspie Revelations!

It's been quite the few weeks, not a lot of progress code wise for a few reasons.
First up, before I can go any further with the GOAP implementation I need an actual game, and behaviours to implement. I've been scribbling down a lot of ideas and just about have something I think will work well, and in particular make good use of the strenths of the Goal Oriented Action Planning method.
Secondly, and this is a biggie...I've finally figured out that I have High-Functioning Autism, aka. Aspergers Syndrome. There have been a few events in recent weeks that led me to look into the subject, and, wow! It's a real light-bulb moment. It's a really fascinating subject and I will be writing a full article on it in the near future but I am still in the overloaded stage trying to process everything.
It's like at the age of 35 I've finally been handed the correct user manual for my brain.
Interesting times, and not in a bad way! More soon :)

Apologies if any links have been misbehaving, I've spent the last hour or so fighting with Joomla to get a more coherent site layout in place. Each of the three UnrealEngine projects I have on the go at the moment now have their own project page and associated devblog.
Spent a couple of hours refactoring the UI project into a UE plugin component so it can be easily re-used, which has meant rejigging the assets which I'll have to recreate tomorrow morning.
Friday Update - July 1st 2016

Finally at the end of a very busy week, with our Unreal Engine user group, Ubisoft Blue Byte summer meeting, and a some good stuff which I hope will lead to something I have been working very hard towards the last year! A few updates :
I've had a developer from Ottowa get in touch who's also working on a GOAP system regarding knowledge sharing, so I've uploaded the current state to Github. It's just missing the last piece of the puzzle, the action planner pathfinding algorithm, although it does work currently if you have a single valid route from current to target state.

The procedural terrain generator I just need to tidy up a little bit before uploading the foliage spawning component I demoed at the UE meetup, possibly this weekend.
Last up, I've created a project on Github as a workspace for some UI demos/tutorials/samples. I started off some worldspace UI classes this morning and have a few hours free this evening to get some demos done. I'll post the repo once I've pushed the content.
